George Washington announced the hiring of Zak Boisvert as an assistant coach.
That completes head coach Chris Caputo’s inaugural staff in Foggy Bottom.
“We want our players to be lifelong learners who are passionate about the game of basketball,” Caputo said. “Zak’s passion for the game and growth mindset will set a great example for our players. He has a diversity of coaching experience and was a student manager in the Atlantic 10, which gives him a unique perspective for us here at GW.”
Prior to coming to DC, Boisvert was at Indiana State. Boisvert also spent time at Army West Point, Maine, Fairleigh Dickinson and Iona.
“I am excited to work alongside the other coaches in helping our players reach their maximum potential on and off the court,” said Boisvert. “I look forward to developing lifelong relationships with the GW players and staff and doing my part in helping Coach Caputo execute his vision for the program. Raise High! Let’s Work!”
