Danny Garcia is 36-2 (21 KO’s) and you would never know it.
His only two losses came to Keith Thurman (split decision) and Shawn Porter. All Garcia does is fight any and everybody but he’s not mentioned nearly enough as a top fighter in his weight class.
It looks like Garcia will have another shot to cement his name as one of the top fighters of his generation, on November 21st. Reportedly, that’s the agreed date between Garcia and undefeated champion, Errol Spence (26-0, 21 KOs).
HERE WE GO! @ErrolSpenceJr Spence on Nov. 21. Signed! Sealed! Delivered! My 10th world title fight its time to crown the king again ??

And, believe me, Garcia will pull off the upset.
There’s not a better time to fight Spence. After his horrific car accident, the boxing community knew it would take time for Spence to come back. Many thought he would have a couple of tune up fights prior to accepting a mega-fight. Spence fooled those in that camp and has decided to square off against an opponent who can beat him.
Garcia’s style is perfect for upsetting Spence. It’s well-known that Garcia can knockout his opponents but his boxing skills are underrated. He could stay to the outside and outbox Spence. The ability to do that allows Garcia to pick and choose the spots where he wants to mix it up and, trust me, he will. He will test Spence because, lets be honest, post-accident we don’t know if Spence will have the ability to take a clean, hard shot.
If Spence falls behind early in the fight, he will press. He will want to prove that he’s the same fighter as he was before the accident. That will lead to mistakes that Garcia will easily capitalize off of.
A Garcia win will open up rematch opportunities against Porter and Thurman. He could also swing for the fences and try to make a deal to fight Terence Crawford or Manny Pacquiao.
But, first things first, Garcia must take advantage of the golden opportunity he’s been given and you can best believe he will.
