With apologies to Seattle and Buffalo, here are the latest Power Rankings.
- New England Patriots (6-0) – People are looking for a flaw in this team and you aren’t going to find one. Yes, the offense hasn’t gotten cranked up yet but the defense is stout. Once the offense gets kickin’ they’ll be talk of an undefeated season. Next Game: at New York Jets
- New Orleans Saints (5-1) – Saints win at Jacksonville is much better than people think. Like the Patriots, the Saints defense is their calling card right now. Sean Payton and Teddy Bridgewater want you to put some respect on their names. Next Game: at Chicago Bears
- Green Bay Packers (5-1) – I get it. Green Bay might’ve been the recipient of a call or four that helped them beat Detroit. Either way, they are 5-1 in the toughest division in football Next Game: vs Oakland Raiders
- San Francisco 49ers (6-0) – It’s time for me to see San Francisco for what they are… currently the best team in the NFC West. Kyle Shanahan returns to Washington aiming to put a whuppin’ on his former team Next Game: at Washington
- Kansas City Chiefs (4-2) – Despite the loss to the Houston Texans, I’m not ready to move the Chiefs out of my top 5 but they’ll need to get it together soon. Beating a division rival on the road would be a good start. Next Game: at Denver Broncos
