Raiders love finding a way to lose. Getting a field goal blocked. We have it. Getting blown out in Indianapolis. Say no more. Las Vegas’ season feels like it is already over.
If they want to push back on that feeling, Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. If the Raiders lose at home to rookie quarterback, Cam Ward, what does that say about Pete Carroll?
Keys for the Raiders
Over the last two weeks, Chip Kelly looks like he’s finding a way to involve Ashton Jeanty in both the running and passing game. That’s the only thing Kelly is working towards in a positive direction. The Raiders will need all around success from Jeanty.
Can the Defense Rise?
I know Daniel Jones has had a really good year but the Raiders defense made him look like Johnny Unitas. That can’t do the same with Ward. They have to be able to pressure him and keep him boxed into the pocket. Make him make decisions under duress.
Coaching
Pete Carroll and his staff haven’t been very good in having this team prepared but my goodness Brian Callahan continues to be guilty of football malpractice. Can Carroll’s staff really get outcoached by this guy? The better not…
