Part of the reason why Shaheen Holloway is the best coach for the program is that he knows how to get the most out of a limited budget.
Holloway achieves this by recruiting tough, defense-first players with whom he can cope with their limited skill on offense. It’s a tough formula to win night-in, night-out, but Holloway has dealt with it as best he can.
Last season, Seton Hall had two Big East wins, with one coming over the defending champs, UConn, and the other against DePaul.
There were some close losses. A one-point home loss to Georgetown, a six-point loss at Providence, and a five-point loss at Butler.
