Miami at Louisville

Even though the Hurricanes are coming off a bye week, this game seems like it should be classified as an “upset alert.”

The last time we saw Miami, the Hurricanes needed three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to fend off Cal.

Louisville is coming off a win on the road at Virginia. It’s a better win than most think. The Cavaliers have been spunky this season under Tony Elliott. The 24-17 win broke a two-game losing streak (Notre Dame and SMU).

The Cardinals are among the few teams in the ACC that can keep up on offense against Miami. Quarterback Tyler Shough has taken big-time weapons in wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks and running back Isaac Brooks.

The problems are on the other side of the ball. Miami quarterback Cam Ward should be licking his chops at a defense that struggled mightily at home against SMU.

Best of the Rest:

  • Virginia at Clemson
  • Wake at UConn
  • Notre Dame at Georgia Tech (s
  • NC State at Cal
  • SMU at Stanford
