Maryland at Virginia
Line: Maryland -2.5
Total: 55.5
Maryland and Virginia renew their rivalry. Last week, both teams played in tight games, but the results were very different.

The Terps lost their Big Ten opener to Michigan State on a last-second field goal. Maryland’s defense gave up 10 points in the last 4:11. Maryland’s passing game was strong behind the quarterback-wide receiver combination of Bill Edwards Jr. and Tai Felton. Edwards Jr. threw for 253 yards, with 152 yards on 11 receptions going to Felton.

Virginia went on the road to Wake Forest and pulled off a 31-30 win. The Cavaliers were down 30-17 going into the fourth quarter. Quarterback Anthony Colandrea threw for over 357 yards and three touchdowns. Colandrea’s main target was Malachi Fields. Fields had 11 receptions for 148 yards.

With both offenses clicking and defenses having a propensity to leak, the total is where the play is.

Pick: Over 55.5 (-115)
