Virginia’s season was a strange one.
There were non-conference 20+ point losses to Wisconsin and Memphis.
The Cavaliers didn’t get a true road win until January 20th. After finishing third in the ACC during the regular season, the Cavaliers finished the ACC tournament with a heartbreaking loss when the end of regulation was mismanaged, allowing North Carolina State to force overtime. Then, of course, the season ended with a 67-42 loss to Colorado State in the First Four.
