Maryland heads to Philadelphia to try and break a two-game losing streak when they face Villanova.
The Terps are coming off back-to-back losses to Davidson and UAB.
Head coach Kevin Willard isn’t concerned.
“I’m not worried about this team. I know everyone else is,” said Willard.
Former Terp Hakim Hart transferred to Villanova in the summer.
Hart averaged a career-high 11.4 points per game last season.
Maryland is 272nd in Effective FG% and 298th in Turnover% per KenPom.
“I definitely think we will get better at shooting the basketball,” said Willard. “A lot of our missed shots have come from guys that are now either didn’t play that much last year, freshmen coming in playing, or really guys trying to figure out their role.”
Last time out, Villanova lost to Penn, 76-72.
