Washington Commanders: Cold Feet

It looks like Daniel Snyder is having cold feet when it comes to him selling the team.

Snyder has decided to ask for $7B for the team. Reports are that Snyder wants to exclude Jeff Bezos from buying the team because of his hatred for the Washington Post, an entity owned by Bezos.

All of this sounds like a man who did something in the heat of the moment and is now having regrets.

Snyder has been a defiant figure since purchasing the Washington franchise.

There was no floor when it came to being a villain. He’s done everything from creating a toxic work environment to suing ticket holders. And don’t get me started on selling concessions that were past its expiration date.

There’s a possibility that Snyder might not have a choice.

There have been reports that Snyder might have committed bank fraud. It would be the latest in the list of investigations that he’s been involved in.

Snyder might have forced his fellow NFL business partners from going into the safe and blowing the dust off of the nuclear solution.

There are reports that indicate that the owners might consider having a league vote that could lead to Snyder being voted out of the NFL’s most exclusive club.

Ownership.

It’s not a small thing that Snyder’s future is on the agenda when the league meets in Florida.

It lets Snyder know that the league has 24 votes or, at the very least, they can get 24 votes.

It’s also the league letting Snyder know that they don’t want to use the nuclear option. They would like to have Snyder go away in a similar fashion to Jerry Richardson.

But that’s not who Snyder is. He would rather hedge his bets that he can keep in tied up in court long enough for the NFL owners to say that the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

If this ends up in court, fans probably have nothing to worry about. If there is something Snyder is good at, it’s losing.
