Big East Media Day was its usual whirlwind of coaches and players with media obligations and catching up with colleagues.
The same can be said for the media. With college basketball being a 12-month venture, it’s hard to determine if it’s a real beginning or end date but media days serve more has an unofficial notice that the season is here more than anything else.
The Transfer Portal has made the Preseason Polls and All-Conference selections (more on that later) borderline useless in most conferences.
