Notre Dame Basketball: Maximizing the Freshmen (VIP)

Last season wasn’t one for Notre Dame to put in the record books.

Micah Shrewsberry had a Mike Singletary-esque meltdown. The Irish lost a home game to North Carolina on a four-point play. After losing four out of five, Notre Dame (15-18, 8-12) finished the season on a three-game winning streak, only to get their doors blown off in the ACC Tournament by the Tar Heels.

With all of that, the Fighting Irish were able to retain point guard Markus Burton. Along with Burton, Braeden Shrewsberry and Kebba Njie bring veteran experience. Sophomores Garrett Sundra, Sir Mohammed, and Cole Certa now have a season under their belt.

But the crown jewel of the offseason was the incoming recruiting class.
