The first year of the Buzz Era will feature a strong non-conference schedule.
Here are some of the highlights:
Both Maryland and Georgetown fans are happy to see the two facing each other. The Terps added extra energy to the game by making it the first game of the season in the Xfinity Center (November 7th).
The now-departed Kevin Willard and Ed Cooley pledged to renew the rivalry, and they were true to their word.
Speaking of rivals, Maryland heads down to its old ACC rival, Virginia. The game will take place on December 20th in Charlottesville.
On November 15th, the Terps travel to Marquette. It’s the return game from last season’s 78-74 home loss. Local product, Adrien Stevens (Bullis Academy), will be suiting it up for the Golden Eagles.
No one is complaining about three days in Las Vegas. The Terps head to Sin City for the Player’s Era. The first two games are against UNLV and Gonzaga. The third game is To Be Announced.
