For the second time this season, Kavi Caster was named to the Big East Honor Roll this week.
This week, Caster had eight hits, a triple, two RBIs, and two walks. He had a .727 average with a .909 slugging percentage.
After taking the series’ first game against Radford, the Hoyas dropped Saturday’s contest, 11-2 and Sunday’s game, 6-4. Georgetown struggled in the field in the finale.
“We didn’t help them out with five errors but ultimately, that is my responsibility, and we need to get better on that side of things,” said head coach Edwin Thompson.
On Tuesday, the Hoyas has a midweek match-up with Mount St. Mary’s.
