It’s been rumored for weeks that Ryan Odom will be the next coach at UVA.
Several outlets have confirmed that UVA will announce Odom as their new head coach.
In 10 seasons, Odom has a career record of 201-117 and three NCAA tournament appearances. The most memorable game Odom has coached was UMBC’s upset of UVA in the NCAA tournament. It was the first time a 16-seed had beaten a one-seed.
Odom will try to revive some March magic for the Cavaliers. Virginia hasn’t won an NCAA tournament game since the 2018-19 season.
