Georgetown Baseball: Hoyas Stop Slide with Series Opening Win

Georgetown had lost five in a row, but that didn’t tell the entire story. The Hoyas have had issues holding leads.

Today against Radford, that wasn’t a problem.

The Hoyas got 6.1 innings from JT Raab (2-1), and Kyle Leckszas pitched 2.2 scoreless innings for his second save in Georgetown’s 6-2 win over Radford.

Owen Carapellotti went 2-4 with a home run and drove in three runs. Kavi Caster was a perfect 3-3 from the plate.

Notes:

  • Carapellotti’s home run today was his sixth of the season.
  • Caster leads the Hoyas in RBI with 22
  • Raab’s 6.1 innings was his longest stint of the season.
