Georgetown (6-9) baseball heads into the start of its two-game series, with Penn State (11-2) winning three of its last four.
The streak started with a 21-6 (7 inn.) win over Coppin State.
The Hoyas would suffer an 8-6 extra inning (11 innings) loss to George Mason before responding with back-to-back wins over Towson (3-2) and Longwood (10-0, 7 innings).

- Andrew Williams (2-0) was named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week. Williams is coming off a complete game (7 innings) win over Longwood. Williams struck out eight Lancers and only allowed two hits. He’s second in the Big East in ERA.
- Freshman Dylan Larkins is 13th in the Big East in average (.366) and tied for first in walks (12).
