I wasn’t an avid watcher of the Dave Chappelle Show.
If I’m being 100% transparent, I didn’t watch it. If someone told me about a funny sketch, I would go to YouTube and watch that particular sketch.
My favorites were probably some of the more popular sketches.
The Race Draft and Wayne Brady’s role as a pimp rank up near the top, but there’s one sketch that I truly rolled in laughter when I watched it.
It was “When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong.”
The sketch was centered around the character acting in a way that one would like to act in the moment but generally wouldn’t because the actions would come with consequences.
The current President of the United States decided that his presidency would test the limits of this skit.
One, Donald J. Trump has tried to weaponize Executive Orders and urinate on the Constitution more times than you can use the “F” word in traffic on the Capital Beltway.
Every President in my lifetime has tested the bounds of their power in some way, shape, or form, so let’s not act like Trump is the first. The difference is, Trump has gone full 1980s SMU Pony Excess on the maneuver and is starting to worry people who have supported his message.
