Hoyas Make it Three in a Row

Georgetown (3-2) got six strong innings from JT Raab and a hot bat from Jeremy Sheffield in the Hoyas 13-1 win over Sacred Heart (0-4).

It was Georgetown’s third straight win.

Raab struck out seven while allowing just one run on six hits.

“JT Raab set the tone from the start to finish going a strong six innings before KaI Leckszas took over and sealed this one up for us.” – Head Coach Edwin Thompson.

The Hoyas scored a combined nine runs in the first three innings. Sheffield went 3-for-5 with two RBIs, a triple, and a walk. Dylan Larkins went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and three walks.

“The biggest play of the day was when Dylan Larkins had a big two out hit and then two innings later Jeremy Sheffield had a big two out, two strike hit and it really gave us the cushion we needed.” – Head Coach Edwin Thompson.
