Super Bowl Picks and Props

The final Sunday of the NFL season is finally here.

Nothing brings out the best and worst bettors than Super Bowl Sunday.

It’s the ultimate “throw poo up against the wall” Sunday.

Odds are compliments of FanDuel:

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Line: Chiefs -1.5 (-104); Eagles +1.5 (-118)
MoneyLine: Chiefs -118; Eagles +100
Total: 48.5; o48.5 (-105)/u48.5 (-115)

I’m not big on the line but bullish on the total. Both defenses have been good this season and, at times, very good. The defense has bailed out the Chiefs in multiple games this season, buying time for Kansas City until the offense got into the groove.

I say all of this to say that I love the over. It might be a game that gets off to a slow start offensively, but both offenses will pick up steam as adjustments are made.

It’s the last game of the season. The entire playbook is open.

o48.5 (-110)

The Any Time Touchdown prop is more of the popular prop bets in the Super Bowl. There’s value in the bet.

Philadelphia Eagles:
The safe route would be Saquon Barkley (-195) or Jalen Hurts (-120). The Eagles will score a touchdown, with those two being the best bets.

How about Dallas Goedert (+320)? Depending on how the Chiefs’ defensive coordinator, Steve Spagnuolo, handles AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, Goedert could be single-covered in the middle of the field.

Anytime Touchdown: Goedert +320 and Hurts -120

Kansas City Chiefs:
There could be value on this side of the ledger. The Chiefs offer a wider choice of players who could score a touchdown because of head coach Andy Reid’s creativity.

It’s starts with Kareem Hunt (+145). Hunt should get at least one crack at scoring if the Chiefs get close to the goal line. There’s also the Kelce factor. If he’s truly debating retirement, Patrick Mahomes will want to get him a Super Bowl touchdown as a send-off.

Kelce checks in at +130.

Other solid choices include Xavier Worthy (+155) and Isiah Worthy (+150).

Notice we haven’t gotten to the wide receivers yet. Marquise Brown is a robust +290, while DeAndre Hopkins is +500.

If you’re wondering about Mahomes, he’s +410.

Let’s go big.

Anytime Touchdown: Hopkins +500 and Mahomes +410

Other Bets:
Hurts 2+ Touchdowns +550
Alternate Total: o50.5 (+122)
Kansas City Team Total: o26.5 (+124)

Specials:
Each team to Score 1+ TD and 1+ FG in Each Half +1300
Barkley to record 10+ yards rushing in each quarter -120
