Brown had signed an extension with the organization in June. In 2023, Brown was unanimous Coach of the Year.
The Kings are 13-18. They are on a five-game losing streak, with all five losses coming at home.
Firing Brown doesn’t solve the problems in Sacramento.
The trade of DeMar DeRozan hasn’t worked out. De’Aaron Fox’s contract is up in 2025-26, and there are rumors flying that the Kings could trade him. Keegan Murray’s numbers have also regressed.
