There was something poetic at the end of the Seton Hall-Georgetown game.
After falling behind early, the Pirates turned the game into an alley fight, which worked.
Georgetown was no longer getting the ball inside to Thomas Sorber. Seton Hall was bludgeoning the Hoyas on the offensive boards, finishing with 22 offensive rebounds, 16 of which came in the second half.
Down by one point, Seton Hall had the ball with 10 seconds left and a chance to win.
The final possession for Seton Hall was a microcosm of who they are. The final offensive set looked painfully disorganized. It ended with Dylan Addae-Wusu dribbling aimlessly until he turned the ball over with one second left.
Georgetown 61 Seton Hall 60
It was the Pirates’ fourth loss in a row, including a buzzer-beater, heartbreaking 63-60 loss to Rutgers.
