The front office wants to stay on the lottery path, and with good reason. The Wizards are one of several teams that would like to have some lottery luck and end up with Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey.
The 2025 NBA Draft is also deep enough to select a significant player outside the top two projected prospects.
But the Washington Wizards could have played it (no pun intended) a little differently.
