NFL Picks and Props: Thanksgiving Games

Happy Thanksgiving.

Picks and Props give you an entrée, side, and dessert for each game. In other words, we are giving you a prop bet, the line bet, and the total.

Chicago at Detroit
Jared Goff 2+ Touchdown Passes (-115) – I’m willing to give Goff the benefit of the doubt because Dan Campbell has a national audience and will go ham if he can.
Detroit -9.5 (-112) – The number is too high for a division game. So why am I taking the Lions minus the points, you guessed it, because of Dan Campbell. He will run it up if he can.
o48.5 (-105) – I like the over in games where I think one of both defenses will get a defensive touchdown. This game has that possibility.

NY Giants at Dallas
CeeDee Lamb 70+ Yards Receiving (-104) – Cooper Rush will find Lamb even if he has to force it. If he doesn’t, Lamb’s body language will show its frustration.
Dallas -3.5 (-104) – Dallas believes it can make a run at the playoffs. Even if that’s a delusional feeling, they will play hard. The Giants want the season to end. They will quit at the sign of any pressure.
o37.5 (-104) – Both teams do enough dumb things to give up big plays. The game feels like one of those 27-13 crapfests.

Miami at Green Bay
Josh Jacobs 70+ Yards Rushing (-125) – This one has many prop possibilities. I don’t love how Love is playing, and other than Derrick Henry in Baltimore and Saquon Barkley in Philadelphia, there hasn’t been a better free-agent running-back marriage than Jacobs and the Packers.
Green Bay -3.5 (-102) – I’m not going to lie, the hook worries me in this one. I’m leaning towards Green Bay winning this by a 31-27 type score.
o47.5 (-112) – This wreaks of a Thanksgiving shootout. It will be the right medicine to cure fans of the Cowboys-Giants game.
