After splitting with Cuba in the previous AmeriCup window, Team USA completed a 2-0 window with a 97-74 win over the Bahamas.
Javonte Smart’s 21 points led the Americans. Jahmius Ramsey chipped in with 19 points, and Frank Kaminsky had 14 points and seven rebounds.

After blowing out Puerto Rico, Team USA took longer to put the game away against the Bahamas. Team USA only led by 11 at the half, and the Bahamas had multiple chances to take the lead in the second quarter, but as the game progressed, Team USA’s depth and a renewed commitment to defense took over.
The final qualifying window will take place on the road in February. USA will travel to Puerto Rico and the Bahamas,, and the top three teams in the group will advance to the FIBA Men’s AmeriCup (August 23-25) in Managua, Nicaragua.
