College Football Picks: Week 10

Ole Miss at Arkansas

Line: Ole Miss -6.5
Total: 53.5
Let’s be honest. You never know what you’ll get out of either of these teams. Ole Miss should be better, and Arkansas may not be as much, but the one thing these two teams will do is score.
Pick: o53.5

Ohio State at Penn State
Line: Ohio State -3.5
Total: 45.5
Bettors may not be feeling this pick, but it is more of an indictment of James Franklin than anything else. Franklin has had a tough week (by his own doing), and the Nittany Lions have tended to come up short in these moments.
Pick: u45.5

Florida vs. Georgia
Line: Georgia -16.5
Total: 52.5
Even though the Gators have shown life over the last four games, I like Georgia. This is a spot where the Dawgs defense will show out and score or set up at least one touchdown and force 3+ turnovers.
Pick: Georgia -16.5

Texas A&M at South Carolina
Line: Texas A&M -2.5
Total: 44.5
Mike Elko has the Aggies in a groove. The win over LSU has put Texas A&M in the College Football Playoff. That should have this team focused enough to beat a Gamecock team coming off a blowout win over Oklahoma.
Pick: Texas A&M -2.5

Louisville at Clemson
Line: Clemson -10.5
Total: 63.5
The Tigers have turned it on against a weak ACC. Though this number is bigger than I would like because it puts the backdoor cover into play, I’m riding Clemson.
Pick: Clemson -10.5

Pittsburgh at SMU
Line: SMU -7.5
Total: 58.5
Both teams can score points, and though I like SMU, I don’t love them at 7.5.
Pick: o58.5
