Syracuse (4-1) at (25) UNLV (3-1)
No team in the ACC has a more significant opportunity this weekend than Syracuse—the Orange head out to play UNLV at Allegiant Stadium. The Rebels have survived the Matt Sluka NIL disagreement. The Orange have a road/neutral site game against a top-25 team, which allows them to get a win that would take some of the stink off of the Stanford loss.

The Rebels are coming off an emotional 59-14 blowout win over Fresno State.

That sets the Orange (4.5-point underdogs) in prime position to pull off an upset win. Kyle McCord must have a big game with a clean sheet for that to happen.

SMU (4-1) at (22) Louisville (3-1)
Louisville let an ample opportunity slip through their hands when they lost at Notre Dame last week. The Cardinals couldn’t have played sloppier than they did that day.

After the offense didn’t show up against BYU, that side of the ball has shown up for SMU the last two weeks. The Mustangs have scored 108 points in the previous two games (TCU and Florida State).

SMU’s offense will provide more issues for Louisville’s defense than Notre Dame’s. Louisville’s offense will need to keep up with the Mustangs unless the Cardinals’ defense can force 3+ turnovers, and that still might not be enough.

Other Games:
Boston College at Virginia
Pitt at North Carolina
Wake at NC State
Virginia Tech at Stanford
Clemson at Florida State
Duke at Georgia Tech
Miami at Cal
