Let’s cut to the chase. The Las Vegas Raiders have morphed back into being the Raiders that have frustrated fans for over a generation.
It’s no wonder Davante Adams is seeking a trade. His patience, like that of Randy Moss before him, has worn thin with the consistent mismanagement that has plagued the Raiders.
The latest gaffes started with not taking the interim head coaching tag off of Rich Bisaccia. Instead, owner Mark Davis brought in Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler.
McDaniels and Ziegler decided to take away one of the main reasons the Raiders were excited about Adams. That would be Derek Carr at quarterback. The only way the move would’ve been palatable is if the Raiders got someone head and shoulders better than Carr. Of course, that didn’t happen.
McDaniels and Ziegler brought in Jimmy Garoppolo. The oft-injured, highly ineffective Garoppolo was himself, so it failed.
