The Las Vegas Raiders are ill-equipped to win in the NFL, with the quarterback room looking the way it does.

The Raiders’ lack of one in a quarterback-driven league is front-office malpractice, especially when the organization has a first-time head coach. The gaffe falls squarely on Tom Telesco’s shoulders.

It’s part of the reason why the week one loss to the Los Angeles Chargers hurt so bad. The Raiders had bad quarterback play and poor decision-making by head coach Antonio Pierce in the 22-10 loss, with a trip across the country to Baltimore on the horizon.

Yesterday in the Home of the Crab Cake, the Raiders looked over the horizon and saw beauty in a 26-23 comeback win over the Ravens.

Not only was the win unexpected by most, but it came with the Raiders down 10 points in the fourth quarter.
