Year two of the Tony Skinn coaching era will present some highly visible nonconference games, including a trip to Durham to face Cooper Flagg and the Duke Blue Devils.
Duke isn’t the only power conference opponent. The Patriots will reconnect with Shaka Smart and “Havoc” with a trip to Marquette. Under Smart, the Golden Eagles are 75-30, with an NCAA Tournament trip each of the three seasons he’s been there.
George Mason will also play two former Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) rivals, East Carolina and James Madison, both on the road.
Mason will host nine nonconference games, the most since 1983-84.
