The Georgetown Women’s Basketball program is coming off a successful season under new head coach Darnell Haney.
Haney took over the program when head coach Tasha Butts passed away after a two-year battle with breast cancer. Haney and the Hoyas honored Butts’ memory throughout the season.
The Hoyas finished the regular season with 23 wins, the program’s first appearance in the Big East tournament finals, and a win in the WBIT.
