Ed Cooley looked and sounded like a coach who had not gone through a 9-23 season. Among the 23 losses were a home loss to Holy Cross, a heartbreaking loss to TCU, and Cooley’s homecoming to Providence.
You wouldn’t know that Cooley was coming off his worst career season. His energy was displayed last week as he led a new Hoyas group through drills during summer workouts.
