When Highland School (Warrenton, VA) walked into the gym, all eyes were on one player.
Nate Ament (6’9″) is the hot topic of conversation for the second straight summer.
It started last summer when Ament played for Adidas 3SSB’s Team Loaded (NC). Ament moved to Team Loaded (VA) this summer.
It was the first of two significant moves Ament made last year.
The second move was a transfer to Highland School (VISAA DII). He had previously played at a public school in Prince William County, where he was rarely, if ever, challenged. Ament led Highland School to a state finals appearance, losing to Miller School.
