The Washington Commanders cut kicker Brandon McManus after McManus was accused of sexual assault.
The alleged incident happened while McManus was with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Under Daniel Snyder, the Commanders organization was known for mistreating women mainly from ownership and the front office.
Cutting McManus sends a message that new owner Josh Harris has a different level of expectations, at the very least, from players.
McManus denies the allegations.
