Duel in DFW Kicks Off High Level AAU Season

Dallas, Texas will be the epicenter of high-level AAU when the Duel in DFW kicks off on Friday.

What makes the event so special is the four shoe circuits (EYBL, 3SSB, Under Armour, and Pro 16) are all represented.

Drive Nation (EYBL) features Jermaine O’Neal Jr. The son of the former NBA player (Jermaine O’Neal Sr.) holds offers from multiple Power 5 schools including Missouri, Arizona State, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.

Houston Hoops’ Kash Polk (EYBL) will look to kick off an important season on the summer circuit. Polk has five offers including one from Oklahoma.

Adidas’ 3SSB is well represented with staples like Southern Assault, ASAK, and Team Trae Young.

Speaking of Team Trae Young, they will get the first crack at Virginia Elite’s (UAA) Jordan Scott.

Scott holds several offers including one from Michigan State. The Spartans are considered the favorite to land Scott.

Virginia Elite also highlights another 2025 prospect, Miles Franklin, is starting to get interest from Division 1 schools of all levels.

DeAaron Fox’ UAA program has made the trip to Dallas. It will be the program’s first season on the circuit.

Perhaps the most intriguing storyline with be the performance of Puma’s Pro 16 teams. Several teams have Division 1 prospects including multiple players on SA Future on both the 2025 and 2026 squad along with Southern Ties’ 2026 stud, Jayden Hopkins.

Former UAA program, AAO Flight will be playing under the Pro 16 banner.
