Bivol Card Shaping Up

On June 1st, fight fans could have a boxing card worthy of a pay-per-view.

The much anticipated Dmitry Bivol-Artur Beterbiev headlines the card.

Bivol (22-0, 11 KOs) has a dominating win over Canelo Alvarez. While Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) has a 100% KO rate.

Two high-level heavyweight fights are on the cusp of being added to the card.

First, undefeated Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) is finalizing a deal with Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs).

Hrgovic is ranked 5th in the world, while Dubois is ranked 9th. Dubois’ two losses came to Joe Joyce and Oleksandr Usyk.

The other heavyweight fight would match two fighters coming off a loss to Joseph Parker.

Deontay Wilder lost to Parker by Unanimous Decision (111-118, 108-120, 110-118).

Zhilei Zhang’s loss to Parker was a lot closer. Zhang lost by Majority Decision (113-113, 112-114, 111-115).

Wilder is ranked 7th in the world, while Zhang checks in at 6th in the world.
