The Washington Wizards acquired Marvin Bagley III, Isaiah Livers, and a two second round pick (2025 and 2026) in exchange for Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala.
The deal makes the Wizards younger. Bagley III will turn 25 in March and Livers will turn 26 after the season. Bagley III has one year remaining on his deal. Livers has an expiring deal but if the Washington Wizards make a qualifying offer, he would be a restricted free agent.
Gallinari is 35 and Muscala is 32.
Both players are on expiring deals.
The Duke product was the second overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He’s averaging 10.2 points on 59.1% shooting.
For Bagley III, it’s an opportunity to reset his ceiling after disappointing stops in Detroit and Sacramento.
