Picks and Props: NFL Picks Super Wild Card

Cleveland Browns (-2.5) at Houston Texans o/u 44.5

This game features two of the best quarterback stories in the NFL.

The Cleveland Browns had a lot of expectations this season especially with that defense. Three quarterbacks later, the Browns have a former Super Bowl winning quarterback who was sitting on his sofa when they called. Joe Flacco has reinvigorated Cleveland to a point where they are road favorites.

C.J. Stroud was the quarterback who was dinged coming into the draft. The Carolina Panthers decided to mortgage part of their future to draft Bryce Young. That allowed Stroud to drop to the Texans and rookie quarterback and rookie head coach led Houston to a place no one thought they would be.

Props:
David Njoku Anytime TD +180
C.J Stroud – Interception -102

Miami Dolphins (+4.5) at Kansas City Chiefs

How did Miami get here? They got here by blowing a three-game lead and getting in as a wild-card instead of a division winner. That means traveling to Kansas City where the weather could be historically cold.

The Dolphins have been decimated by injury especially on defense.

The Chiefs has spent more time in the headlines for Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift than football.

Kansas City’s defense has been better than advertised with Chris Jones serving as the anchor.

Travis Kelce Anytime TD +115
