First-time head coach Duane Simpkins opened the doors of Bender Arena to the public today.
The Eagles held an intramural scrimmage in front of a nice-sized crowd that included a lot of high school programs from the area.
Allowing this type of access to the program is one of many changes in Tenleytown.
The most obvious change is the style of play.
Simpkins kept hammering the point home. The Eagles are going to run. They are going to shoot threes. They’re going to be exciting.
