This week’s college football picks leave gamblers in a pickle.
Vegas has done a very good job on the lines in some of the most notable games.
So none of my picks this week will include games like Penn State-Ohio State, Miami-UNC etc.
Air Force -10.5 at Navy Total: 34.5
Air Force has a chance at an undefeated season and they won’t let Navy stand in their way. Like most games involving the academies, fans will hope that it will be a close game but this one won’t be.
Pick: Air Force -10.5
South Carolina +7.5 at Missouri Total: 59.5
The only thing worse than this being a touchdown spread is that there’s a hook on the end of the seven.
With that being said, South Carolina is like buying fireworks from a fireworks stand. Yeah, it’s fun until you compare it to the real thing.
The Gamecocks will have their moments in this one but it won’t be enough.
Pick: Mizzou -7.5
Ole Miss -6.5 at Auburn Total: 54.5
Auburn had back-to-back weeks of good effort before morphing back to Auburn in their 48-18 loss to LSU.
This is a home game for the Tigers so you would expect a better showing but, whether it’s foolish or not, I’m leaning towards Lane Kiffin.
Pick: Ole Miss -6.5
Michigan -24.5 at Michigan State Total: 46.5
The season can’t get over fast enough for the Spartans.
By no fault of their own, Michigan hasn’t faced a quality opponent so they need to continue to beat down the bad opponents until they face Penn State on November 11th.
