Picks and Props: Week 5 College Football

LSU -2.5 at Ole Miss Total: 67.5

I don’t know if I’m missing something but Ole Miss’ clunker against Alabama is more representative of who they really are. On the other side, despite some inconsistency, I still believe in Brian Kelly and LSU’s preseason hype.

Pick: LSU -2.5

Michigan -17.5 at Nebraska Total: 39.5

The Huskers are on a two-game winning streak… those wins have come over Northern Illinois and Louisiana Tech. No offense to those two but that isn’t exactly Michigan.

The Wolverines will be playing their first road game but, after the Jim Harbaugh suspension, you have this feel that it’s about time for them to have a whipping stick win.

Michigan’s run game will wear down Nebraska’s defense and I expect the Wolverines’ defense to have at least, one score.

Pick: Michigan -17.5

Georgia -14.5 at Auburn Total: 45.5

Like Michigan, I don’t think Georgia has had a signature performance yet. They struggled for a bit in their 10-point win over South Carolina.

Like Michigan, the Dawgs are hitting the road against a low-level conference opponent. It’s a great opportunity to get a win that will remind people why UGA is the number-one team in the country.

Pick: Georgia -14.5

Best of the Rest:

Maryland-Indiana over 50.5

Memphis -3 vs. Boise St.

Iowa State + 20 at Oklahoma
