Most recently, Toppert was an assistant coach for LSU. Prior to that, he was at the University of Memphis.
Toppert has professional coaching experience.
He was the head coach of the Northern Arizona Suns (G League) before becoming an assistant coach and director of player development for the Phoenix Suns.
