Rose Zhang will make her LPGA debut this week at the inaugural Mizuho Americas Open.
Zhang had one of the best college/amateur careers of this generation.
She won the 2020 U.S. Women’s Amateur at 17. At Stanford, Zhang won 12 of 20 college tournaments along with back-to-back NCAA individual titles. If that wasn’t enough she also won the 2023 Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
The endorsement world recognizes Zhang’s popularity.
She has a multi-year deal with Adidas. Zhang’s relationship with Adidas goes back to her time at Stanford when she had a NIL agreement with the company.
Other endorsements include Callaway, Delta, East West Bank, Rolex, USwing, Beats by Dre just to name a few.
Zhang’s debut couldn’t happen at a better place. Liberty National has the New York City skyline in the background.
A city known for the motto “if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere”.
That certainly pertains to Zhang.
