New place. New staff.
VCU head coach, Ryan Odom, announced additions to his staff.
Bradford Burgess, Billy Bales and Matt Hart will join Odom at VCU.
Bradford Burgess:
- Role: Director of student-athlete development.
- Spent the 2022-23 season as a player development coordinator with the Chicago Bulls
- worked for the Oklahoma City Thunder organization for three years including serving as an assistant coach for the Thunder’s G-League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, in 2019-20.
Billy Bales:
- Role: Director of video
- Worked as director of player development at Utah State from 2021-23.
- Worked for Odom at UMBC during the 2020-21 season
- Graduate assistant at Lenoir-Rhyne from 2018-20.
Matt Hart:
- Role: Director of analytics. He also worked for Odom at Utah State,
- Served as a graduate assistant at Utah State in 2022-23
- Served as an assistant coach at Daemen University in 2021-22,
- Player development/director of video operations for George Washington in 2018-19.
