Ronald Polite III will return to George Mason.
Polite III had put his name in the Transfer Portal after Kim English left for Providence.
After Tony Skinn was hired as the new head coach, Polite III decided to stay.
“We are so excited to welcome back Ronny for his senior season,” head coach Tony Skinn said. “He is a foundational piece and one of the best guards in the Atlantic 10. He will prove critical as we craft the culture of our program in the coming months.”
As a junior, Polite III put together one of the most improved seasons in program history while making significant gains in nearly every statistical category. That included scoring (11.4 ppg vs. 4.9), assists (4.0 vs. 1.4) and 3pt FG% (.358 vs. .219).
