Several sources have said that Georgetown’s next head coach will be Ed Cooley.
Cooley amassed a 242-153 record at Providence.
In Cooley’s 12 years at Providence, the Friars won a Big East tournament, on regular season title and made the NCAA tournament seven times.
Georgetown has been looking for a head coach since they moved on from Patrick Ewing after the Hoyas were eliminated from the Big East tournament.
