What’s next for Mayweather?

Did you know that Floyd Mayweather had an exhibition fight in the UK?

Probably not.

Mayweather went all eight rounds with Aaron Chalmers.

Whether you’re interested in watching, at least, you should know. No one knew.

More people were way more interested in Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury than Mayweather.

That’s damning for Floyd.

Whether you like Mayweather or not, he was always a draw. He mattered even if it was because a large swath of people dislikes him.

Throughout Mayweather’s exhibition tour, less and less people watched but, at least, they were cognizant of the event even if they were secretly hoping that somehow, someway he would get knocked out.

As a fighter, Mayweather deserves to be in any GOAT conversation. His wins as “Pretty Boy” Floyd were more exciting than his wins as “Money” Mayweather, but you can argue that “Money” Mayweather was a for more superior tactician than his younger self.

When Mayweather fought Canelo Alvarez, “Pretty Boy” Floyd would’ve come closer to losing because how Mayweather fought early in his career.

All this is to say, Mayweather might want to finally find that “next” hobby. For a lot of former athletes, that’s golf but Mayweather doesn’t seem like the golfing type.

It’s hard to watch fight at the age of 46.

It’s even harder to watch fans not care.
