Coming into their game with Maryland, Nebraska was last or almost last in just about every offensive category in the Big Ten.
One of their bright spots was senior Derrick Walker.
Walker came into the game 13.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
Maryland’s bigs have gotten better as the season has gone. Julian Reese has been guarding all the tough bigs in the conference and, despite foul trouble, he’s held his own.
Patrick Emilien has come off the bench and has provided more of a physical presence than the skinnier Reese.
