American U is coming off their biggest win in years.
The 74-70 win over Georgetown was a stunner to most. “Great win for us,” said American head coach Mike Brennan.
It was American’s third straight win.
Despite not having Colin Smalls, the Eagles were the composed team down the stretch.
Johnny O’Neil led three Eagles in double-digits with 16 points.
Up next is a trip to Pennsylvania to face Saint Francis. The Red Flash (2-3) broke a three-game losing streak with a 120-53 win over Franciscan.
Redshirt junior Josh Cohen had 19 points. Cohen leads the team in scoring at 23 points per game.
