Georgetown running back Mason Gudger was named FCS Freshman of the Week.
Gudger had two kickoff returns for touchdowns in a 59-28 loss to Penn. He’s only the second player in the program to win the award.
It isn’t the only award Gudger won this week. He was also named Patriot League Rookie & Special Teams Player of the week.
Note: Justin Fonteneaux (LB) and Joshua Tomas (WR) received Patriot League Honorable Mention this week.
